Two more people have been arrested related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to police.

A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. They both are still being held, authorities confirmed.

These detentions come after an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, two women had stolen from them their luggage upon exiting a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was among the those hurt in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and were later released.

Police arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of robbery and assault close to the location. He has since been released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Police were called at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals injured by a noxious substance believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - an event that authorities stated was isolated and not being treated as an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 car park for a short time.
